Commercial Energy and Cooling Engineering Services

Maktinta Energy designs and builds complex energy and cooling systems for commercial, industrial, multifamily, municipal, and mission critical facilities.

From solar thermal and commercial PV to data center cooling and energy compliance, our engineering stays involved from initial system design through installation, commissioning, and performance review.

Engineering Services Built Around the Facility

Every project starts with the operating conditions of the building itself.  We evaluate load, energy use, thermal requirements, site constraints, utility conditions, and project goals before selecting equipment or designing the system.

Our services can be delivered individually or integrated into a complete design build project.

Commercial Solar PV

Maktinta designs commercial solar PV systems around actual facility loads, available site area, utility requirements, and long term operating economics.

Our team handles system engineering, permitting, interconnection, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and battery integration where storage improves the project economics or resilience.

Data Center Cooling

Maktinta designs cooling infrastructure for high density data centers and other facilities with demanding thermal loads.

Our work includes facility water loops, liquid cooling integration, heat rejection, chiller selection, dry coolers, controls, and hybrid liquid and air architectures.

In one high density deployment, Maktinta supported rack densities of 75 kW while reducing facility PUE from 1.50 to 1.09.

Commercial Solar Thermal

Maktinta engineers solar thermal systems for domestic hot water, process heat, space heating, and other high thermal demand applications.

Systems are designed around actual hot water demand, storage requirements, available collector area, existing mechanical equipment, and required operating temperatures.

Commercial Aquatic Heating

Maktinta designs solar heating systems for commercial pools, aquatic centers, schools, hotels, municipalities, and recreation facilities.

Each system is engineered around pool volume, temperature requirements, operating schedule, existing boilers, filtration equipment, available collector area, and seasonal heating demand.

Off Grid Solar and Microgrids

Maktinta designs off grid and resilient energy systems using solar generation, battery storage, controls, and generator integration.

These systems are engineered around actual loads, required runtime, site conditions, outage requirements, and the level of energy independence the facility needs.

Title 24 Energy Compliance

Maktinta provides California Title 24 energy compliance support for commercial and residential projects.

Our team prepares energy calculations, compliance documentation, mechanical and envelope analysis, and permit ready reports while coordinating with architects, contractors, and project teams throughout the approval process.

One Engineering Team From
Design Through Commissioning

Maktinta does not separate engineering from implementation. The same team that evaluates the project and designs the system remains involved through permitting, construction, controls, commissioning, and final performance review.

That continuity reduces handoffs and keeps the installed system aligned with the original engineering intent.

Not Sure Which System Your Project Needs?

Send us your facility requirements, load data, drawings, or operating conditions.

Our engineering team can review the project and help determine which system architecture makes sense before equipment is selected.

Most real facilities are mixed. Cold plate on the high-density rows, RDHx or contained air on the rest, sharing one chilled water plant. The difficulty is the plant: sizing, staging, and control across two very different load profiles without either side destabilizing the other. We design the plant and write the control sequences.
