Maktinta Energy is a founder led design build engineering firm based in Campbell, California. We engineer, design, build, commission, and support complex energy systems across solar, mechanical systems, controls, and data center cooling.

Our roots began in mechanical engineering and energy efficiency, later expanding into solar thermal, solar PV, advanced controls, off grid systems, and high density cooling infrastructure.

Meet Gal Moyal
Founder and Chief Engineer
Gal Moyal has spent decades designing and improving mechanical and energy systems across commercial, industrial, multifamily, aquatic, and data center applications.
His work spans solar thermal, solar PV, HVAC, controls, heat rejection, energy efficiency, and high load cooling systems.
Gal remains directly involved in Maktinta projects, from early system design and equipment selection through commissioning and performance review. That direct engineering involvement allows Maktinta to solve projects as complete systems rather than isolated pieces of equipment.
Reduce Before Produce
Before adding more energy generation or larger equipment, we first look at how much energy the facility actually needs. That means identifying wasted load, inefficient controls, unnecessary operating hours, poor heat transfer, and other opportunities to improve performance before increasing system capacity.
A smaller optimized load can mean smaller equipment, lower operating costs, and better long term performance. That is the thinking behind our approach to every project.
